I don´t know if this is the right place to post this. But I would like to make a suggestion for the game.

I think the game would greatly benefit if:
- After a player is booted, the program allowed other new people to take over that spot. The game should become available for those looking to play. Anyone should be able to join
- Granted you are booted from a game, but later you are back and still willing to play.... Let the program allow you to take back your spot from the AI anytime.
- We need Warlight chat.... (sort of like Kongregate has)

Fizzer already said that he hopes to eventually add the second feature you mentioned, he's just doing other stuff at the moment.

i don't think people who get booted should be able to join the game again unless wall the players vote him in

I think thats FINE IF U PUT THAT IN THE SETTINGS BCUZ THEY MAY HAVE JUST LOST CONNECTION FOR A FEW MINUTES OR COULDNT GET ACCESS TO THE COMPUTER OR WERE TOO BUSY. IF YOU DONT THINK SO THEN DONT PUT IT IN THE SETTINGS OF YOUR GAME.

Back on topic - They chatroom would require some more work if it were to be considered. You would need moderators to patrol the forums and keep people happy, but we don't have any moderators - only Fizzer :P

Don't know how the moderator problem could be fixed - but do you really need one? maybe the report button and mutee button would be good enough

I'd take a shoutbox on the dashboard page. If there's enough interest I'll head over and work my powers to make a Warlight IRC chatroom.

I don't think a spammed or trolled alot would work well as a chatroom... IRC sounds much more sensible.

warlight has implemented an IRC chatroom twice, and neither time was it widely used, so Fizzer shut it down..

No IronHeart, forum is not a chat. A chat is where you post short messages, and forum is (should be, at least) for more elaborate posts. And, if forum lacks moderators, I'm willing to become one to clean up some spam (like multiposting).

That's a good idea, but there are some problems:
- making it a popular channel within WarLight players
- network? (I'd suggest QuakeNet)
- dealing with spamming/etc.

Well last night at 4 am I got really bored, so I made one.

*Network* - irc.mibbit.net
*Channel* - #Warlight

It's easy to prevent spamming on RC rooms, Any op or half-op can set a spam limit; AKA if some posts "x" lines in a "y" time period, they are temporarily kicked from the channel for "z" time. Repeat offenders can be name or ip banned.

As for popularity, I'm making another thread to promote this.
