If you have any suggestions please post them below.

Suggestions:

  • The current North vs South distribution is very unbalanced. One player starts with a bonus and the other one has to spend two rounds getting one.
  • I suggest a Palestine/Israeli distribution, where one side gets the Palestinian National Authority and the Gaza strip, and the other one the rest of Israel. Not so sure what to do with Golan though, does anybody here know what is exactly going on there?
  • And make superbonuses for both sides.
  • I think you should improve the borders, currently they are often adjacent and overlapping in the wrong places.
  • Call the Capital city bonus just Jerusalem.

And congrats on finishing this map! It looks to be roughly the same size and quality as one of my favourite maps: Small Earth!

I think you shouldn't include one-territory bonuses on a small map like this.
Actually, TBH given the geography of Israel (it's wedge-like shape) the map doesn't look like it would be a lot of fun to play on. Maybe if you doubled (or even tripled) the territory count... (I know that's probably a lot of work)?

Gnullbegg, why wouldn't wedge-like shapes be playable?

I didn't say they're un-playable - it's just that I imagine quite a lot of matches to be rather boring. Take basically any 'north vs. south' situation: at the moment it's pretty easy for one side to block off the opponent(s) from big parts of the map, because the 'frontline' is mostly only 4 territories wide. And when that situation comes about, the side with the most space to expand into has already won.
So either widen the front (by adding more territories) or maybe add airfields or harbours or something like that which would make the map more dynamic.

-Moros-

1.The North vs South distribution is balanced.
Me and dreuj tested this distribution mode, and the South won some of them.
Moreover, when I tried to give Eilat 1 Bonus (or do the Golan 0), the South won very easily. Maybe I will add the Golan to the Galilee bonus and make it 4 armies per turn.

2.I will add this distribution mode. The Golan is not one of the Palestine territories.

3.I will make superbonuses, but they will worth zero by default.

4.I will try to improve them. Can you please tell me where are the main problems with the borders?

5.I don't think this is really matter.

Thanks for the suggestions!

I tested the map,and it is public now. You can make games in it now.

-Gnullbegg-

This is Israel small. If I will make Israel Medium (or even big) I will add more territories.

I think it's a nice map. If you want to solve the "wedge issue" I think all you have to do is split Ramallah in a western and an eastern part, and that'd make everything more accessible. If you like it how it plays right now, then don't change :)

I helped brisk making this map, and I tested it with him.

I think this map is very good and balanced (also in the games we played in the North v South distribution).
I agree with Yeon that Ramallah should be splitted.

Also for the borders Moros refers to, I think the ones in question are:

Ramallah-Ariel
Ramallah-Ramla
Sharon Plain-Hadera
Sharon Plain-Tul Karm
Sharon Plain-Petah Tikva
Jerusalem-Ma'ale Adumim
Beit Shemesh-Ramla
Beit Shemesh-Rehovot
Ashkelon-North Gaza
Hebron-South Dead Sea
North Negev-South Dead Sea
South Negev-Eilat
South Negev-Arava

Thanks Yeon!
And I know most of you think north is better, but this is not true.
At the beginning it looks like the north wins, but after a few turns both north and south have 14 armies per turn.

Ok, I removed the Golan Heights bonus.
Now I have 3 options:

1. Add Golan Heights to Galilee and change it to 4 armies per turn.
2. Add Golan Heights to Galilee without changing the amount of armies, and add Netanya to Haifa District bonus and change it to 2 armies per turn.
3. Make Golan Heights 0 armies per turn without adding it to Galilee bonus.

What do you think?

The 1.1 version is now in testing mode.
If you are willing to test it say here and I will invite you to a game.
So far the changes are:
1. I added Golan Heights to Galilee and changed it to 4 armies per turn.
2. The borders look better.
3. Ramallah is splitted.
4.I added distribution for the United Nations Partition Plan in 1947.

I didn't make superbonuses, I think the map is too small and it will be impossible to conquer a superbonus.

I think exactly because the map is so small, conquering superbonuses would be easy.

I don't understand, Moros. How will it be easy to conquer a superbonus if it is half of the map?
