Hey, I'm wondering if there is an image in my map, when I upload it, it isn't there. How do I make it visible? Thanks.
Edit: Tracing to bitmap doesn't look nice. Unless I'm doing it wrong.

There's a lot of settings you can play with in the tracing to bitmap screen. You can pick how many layers it makes, and each layer makes it more detailed, at the cost of file size. If you press the "Update" button it gives you an example of what it will look like, and if you keep pressing that button while playing with the settings you should get something you like out of it.

In short, you cannot upload images in warlight. Tracing is the only way for now.

Inkscape does have a "Convert to Path" option if I recall correctly.

That doesn't work with images. "Trace to bitmap" is the option in Inkscape that actually works, which he mentioned and I described.

Ok, thank you. But tracing makes holes sometimes appear in the picture, so in war light you get black spots.

What sort of holes? Larger holes in all shapes who are all the same colour, or the smaller gaps between colours?

Convert to path is for text you want to show up. Yeah you have to vectorize the image. Keep in mind this will add a lot to the file size.

There are spaces in between colors. I know the file size will increase, sometimes it wouldn't even let me upload.

Or simply convert the picture to svg format online and use that in the map file.

I don't think you can use images, but it appears you can use flags off Wikipedia (maybe there vector) Proof: http://warlight.net/Map?ID=12815 I'm pretty sure I didn't trace to bitmap either.
