Map extensions don't work for me none of them do the connections centerpoint or the id ni type the right file name several times but it doesn't work.

Okay, after careful studying of your question, I think you are talking about matma's connection, centerpoint and ID generators, and that even though you typed the file name over and over again, it didn't work.
I think the problem is that you gave the file name, but not the location. It should be something like this:
C:/Users/Ironheart/Documents/Maps/map.svg
I hope this helped. And could you please separate the sentences in any of your next posts? Punctuation marks really help.

I've found that the ID tool works very well, and the centrepoint tool works well for regular shapes, but not at all for nonregular shapes. As for the connection tool, I've tried it many times, and it has never worked for me...

General tip:
If you want to know the location of a file, right click on it, choose "Properties" (most likely this will be at the bottom of the menu). A new window will open, listing all kinds of information; what you're looking for is on the "General" tab (should be the one selected by default), on the row marked "Location".
This should work in any version of Windows you're likely to have (and most of the other ones :p ), unless you already have Windows 8, in that case I can't help you (if you're on Windows 8, nobody can help you, you're doooomed :p ).
