I had that happen once and had to find something that was named wrong (I think it was a bonus link formatted wrong or something). took me a while to find it and correct it.

That is why I usually do a small portion at a time and keep loading it so I can find the issue if an error occurs.

it won`t load on WarLight? E-mail Fizzer about it. It can have multiple reasons, including a very very big line (2k or bigger) wich stands there for no reason. If you zoom out fully or and than slowly zoom in than you will see it appear.
If it doesn`t load anywere else, I can`t help you.

Have you already loaded it on WL? If so, rename the one that won't load locally and download the SVG from WL again.

What happens when you try to open it in Inkscape? Does it actually crash, or does it gove you an error message (if so: tell us the error message!)? Have you tried opening it in another editor?

Wait, didn't I write
does it give you an error message (if so: tell us the error message!)
Knowing you got an error message (instead of a crash) only tells me it's probably not too bad. If you'd actually tell us what the message says there's a good chance someone can tell you how to fix it...

A little bit of Googling gives two possible causes:

http://inkscape.13.n6.nabble.com/SVG-opening-problem-td2883160.html
You have "weird characters" in the file (maybe you have accented letters in territory names?). Solution: open in Notepad, replace accented letters by normal letters. Just to be sure, you should probably make a backup copy first; if you make any mistakes, you could easily make the problem even worse.

The file might be truncated while it was being saved. Open it in Notepad and look at the end of the file. Does it say "</svg>"? If not, this is your problem (this is far more difficult to fix though...).
