Nike - in his clumsy way Texas is trying to apologise. Texas I can see you mean no harm but you alternate your calming statements with arguments about the definition of racism which encourages more posts and clouds your attempt at reconciliation. Also Nike has a point in that this came shortly after another post which could be interpreted badly.

In summary - Nike accept his clumsy apology he does not hate Hong Kongers and I doubt in either thread he was seriously making those points. And Texas leave a retraction at that. Kiss and make up guys.

Haha clumsy attempts indeed, I don't like apologizing much! Although, I wasn't really trying to apologize, merely trying to calm the situation.

As I have said, again and again, I have never had anything against Hong Kong people. I wasn't abusing you. Was merely joking around, with what I thought was a strategically placed ":P" to indicate my joking around. If I didn't know that this was a common internet expression to indicate one was joking, I would assume you didn't know either, but since you have used the ":P" in some of your own posts, I kind of thought you did.

Once again, and hopefully for the last time, I do not have anything against Hong Kong people. They are generally very nice and helpful people, for whatever generalizations are worth.

Ska, I respect your attempt at reconciliation (although I think that is a bit silly, given that me and Nike were never "friends" to begin with), but I will not apologize for someone taking a very very very mild joke waaaaaaay to far. Just let this thing die, shall we?

I will stop posting on this thread, I hope Nike will do the same.
