Just wanted to see if anyone else got totally confused by the new turn number in games now. As an avid strategic 1v1 player, I'm always used to getting a reinforcement card on turn 4, and was extremely confused as to why I did not have one reaching that turn.
I went back through the previous turns meticulously and there was no question as to my taking a territory every turn. I was almost about to submit a bug report, when I decided to actually count the turns that had taken place since distribution, and imagine my astonishment when I counted only 3, even though the turn number said 4. Long story short, I check the updates and the answer was clear (turn number changed to include distribution, bottom-line, add one to whatever it was before).
That's my story, anyone else have a similar experience with this?

Short version: will take a little getting used to to, but in the end, the new system is probably better. (Just like if the English would finally start driving on the right side of the road: switching over is a pain, the longer you wait the worse it gets, but in the end it's easier for everyone. :p )

I had the exactly same problem. I got all mixed up but then realized that this was one of the things that had changed. I agree with RvW though. Just a matter of getting used to.

a player played diplomacy on me, it said it would end turn 8. the turn number in the corner gets to 8; i still can't attack.
@rvw that is never going to happen. our road signs are still in miles instead of km.

Another change. It now states until which turn you can't attack, instead of stating which turn you can attack again. I like it much better this way.

Regardless, I like the change. Doesn't really matter to me if it was intentional, as I'd like it to stay this way.
