Can anyone help me interpret the graph for armies lost?

At low armies, it often comes out to apparently a fraction.

Especially with 0% luck/straight round, it should be set on whole numbers, right?

Could you clarify? There is no 'armies lost' graph available. Do you mean the luck graphs?

When you are in the middle of an attack, there's 4 options, (Cancel, OK, Analyze, Advanced - but I'm not sure what order w/o double checking).

When you click on Analyze, it populates 2 graphs, the top showing how many you need to win, and the various percentages.

The bottom graph is the problem graph, where it shows you how many of your armies and their armies are expected to die.

if your armies lost shows, for example, 7.33 (recurring), that means there is a 2/3 chance that 7 armies will die, and a 1/3 chance that 8 armies will die.

Does that jive with straight round to show fractions then?

In straight rounding the number of armies each side loses will be the whole number closest to the number shown on the armies lost graph. In the previous example with straight rounding 7 armies will die. The graph is showing you fractions and expects you to do the rounding yourself. With 0% luck and straight round you will get a completely predictable outcome.

ummmm i dont know, i presume so. at least, it would still be a graph, but all the
co-ordinate points of the line should be on integers on each axis. if you get what i mean.

Maybe they should be but they aren't.
