Classical (Western, Indian, Chinese), Blues (Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, BB King), Classic Rock (Beatles, CCR, Hendrix, Page, Doors, Dylan, Floyd, Clapton, Stones), lots of Spanish pop (which is usually rather poetic, like siglo de oro poetry), Marley (and his sons, who sound like him), MoTown/R&B (Gaye, Charles), Manu Chao, Tryo, Dave Matthews, innovative or poetic Chinese pop (Wang Fei), the Instrumental-Jazz-Pop Blend I often heard in Paris.

i like classical music, as well as pop and the beatles, and rock from a few decades ago

beethovens 5th is my favourite piece, though it is pretty cheesy now. Ronda alla turca by mozart on harpsichord is very good too

Same as General Arun. I listen to all kinds of music accually. don`t like them all. Dubstep (sorry Vapor), (very) heavy metal or some of those electronical "songs" aren`t my favourites.

i sort of listen obsessively to one artist or band, with the others in moderation, then i switch a week later

I've always preferred female vocalists as I find them soothing (chauvinistic?)- currently enjoying Santigold, Metric, YYY's, Paramore, Flyleaf, etc...

I like classical all right. Gustav Holst's The Planets Suite is very nIce, as well as Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata Movement 3. However, I do like the symphonies of Beethoven but I think that they are just a cover up for people who say they like classical music. Arum, if you do, interest me in more classical music that you like; not the songs that everyone knows about.

My personnal favorites are techno/trance music (don't care who makes them). I find most of the modern music to be ok, although Party rock anthem and im sexy and i know are one of favorite songs. Apart from that, I like Dragonforce. Greatest rock band ever.

well i also like wagner. his flight of the valkeries (dont know how to spell that) is very good, im trying to learn it on piano.

i like organ music too, for example, toccata and fugue by bach (famous, though not my favourite) and also the great fugue

Never mind, most of the people I met who said they were Classical music lovers either used Beethoven's 5th or 9th symphony. Upon asking them who was their favorite classical composer,nthey proceeded to tell me some rock/ pop artist. You cna't blame me for being too suspicious.
Anyway, yes I do like Wagner, but Prokofiev, Bartok, Rimsky-Korsakov are my favorite lesser known composers ( mostly contemporary pianist composers.) my probably favorite composers are Beethoven, Shumann, Mendelssohn and Burgmuller, for their works, respectively, Snatina in G, Fantasy Dance, Venetian Boat Song and The Storm; All which I have played on the piano.

Since there seems to be a lot of talk on Classical- for my money I really enjoy Vivaldi the Four Seasons

im very much a novice on piano, i learn a few tunes on youtube now and again

i enjoy piano music from wim mertins (struggle for pleasure) and giovani allevi (cant remember name-its something like that)

ThePianoGuys are my favourite 'classical' people at the moment, though they arent really classical, they just use classical instruments

oh yeah, beethoven, i listen to him on youtube sometimes, he's pretty good. but my favourite bands are Skerlix and Rofl Lmao, and generic repetitive dance music.

Asong as its not the beatles or another 60's pop rock band, I don't mind other msuic, although some meal bands are fairly bad.
