I normaly use a desktop but Im going away for 4/5 days & was going to take a laptop I have used before. I can log in the site & open 'dashboard,forum,ladders etc.', all in fact except 'single & multi player' so will not be able to take moves. Any Ideas ??

in China it happens too sometimes. Try refreshing the page while at Multiplayer or click the multiplayer button to reload. It might take a few times and if still not working, try a proxy server or try again the next day.
