Yes, hello, it is I, Wolffe. As you could probably already tell, I am the creator and artistic genius behind To2G. No, please, hold your applause! I am here to officially announce that I will be creating a second map, to honour the success of my first! This new map will build off the strengths of the first map, and not have any of it's weaknesses (I think...)! With this, I present to you it's name!

Two Gods:reVerse

Yes, I know it's keeping with the same name/theme, but you try and come up with so many original names and have to do it again! Pretty much, think of this map as an alternate, better universe to the original. Where TosG had 16 superbonuses, TG:rV will have 32. Where To2G has an average superbonus boost of 7, TG:rV will have an average boost of 4-5(ish). The finer details have yet to be sorted out, but I know what it's going to look like, and so will you soon! Unlike the first map, I will be posting constant updates (or a link) of my progress, so you can see history be made! I'll put up a link to the map in a couple of hours, but in the meantime, have fun thinking about me! <3

This here is the preview link, so you can track my progress, without me telling you about it! Take initiative! Stalk me yourselves!

Also, as a little "poll" thing, would people like it if say port cities connected to all other port cities, and land-locked cities connected to all other land-locked cities? I'm a bit unsure about this idea at the moment and need some help deciding. Tell me what you think below, because I can't read your mind! <3

Man, I will hack into your account and delete all of your maps if you don't stop making the rest of us mapmakers look bad! ;-)

More seriously, I don't really like your connections idea, but I can give you a valuable tip for names if you want. Windy Steppe, Rainbow Hill Meadow, Huge Woods etcetera are not really names, they are the atrocious noun/adjective+geographical feature names.

Here's a better way: pick out any real-world place containing names you want in your map. Let's say you want an English-speaking region. Use Google Maps, zoom in really far and you get lots of tiny village names.

But those aren't original! I hear you scream. Fear not, this is where the clever part sets in. You take two names from Google Maps, let's say Twyning and Alcester (those are real places), and combine them! That gives you Alling and Twycester, two original names on your English part of the map!

This will work for any language. Gerolzhofen+Karsbach=Karshofen, Atienza+Calatañazor=Calienza, Zacharo+Andravida=Zachravida, Baghdad+Medina=Bedina or Meddad.

Thank you, thank you, you're all too kind.

@Ranek I too am your biggest fan. Totally jealous of that golden achievement. ;)

@Moros Thanks for the advice! I already have a more stable naming method for this map, however, that involves less geographical features and "Northern Tochapan Hills" (I hated this, and I made the map), and more proper names. I'll keep the tip in mind if I start to run out though. :)

I think the speaking names are cool. Vainly mix you two existing name into one, it remains the english, french, russian, etc. feeling of them. I think genuine names fit better to fantasy maps.

@Urfang Umm, I'm sorry, I don't understand? Could you please elaborate?

Its just my opinion about naming territories in fantasy maps. The using of existing names or form new names from existing names dont help to make unique atmosphere and a brand new world.

Simply, I like the "Windy Steppe", "Scary Woods", or "Cursed Region" names, I think its more charming then "Lulganbia" or "Wotanby" or something like that, but it is just my opinion.

@Urfang Oh, I see what you were saying now! There will still be some of these. I said "less" in my post to Moros. Not "none at all." ;)

EDIT: I've started adding the proper territories and such now as well. Bonus links will come in once I've finished an SB, so don't fret. Also, keep an eye out for me if there's an error, or if you think something doesn't sound right name-wise. <3
