While the First Clan League will probably continue for nearly a month before the results are decided, I think it is a good time to go ahead an get ready for the Second one so we can start it soon after the first one ends.

So the question is, what should the settings be for the second one and which clans will participate.

I'll talk about the settings first. I personally think we should do a 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 again with a similar style:
- 4 strategic 1v1 round robins with one member from each clan in each one...no player may participate in more than one...Worth 1 point for each win
- 2 strategic 2v2 round robins with one team from each clan in each one...no player can be in both...Worth 2 points for each win
- 1 Europe 3v3 round robin with one team from each clan...Worth 4 points for each win

The changes are due to the fact of there being more than 10 clans this time...Some clans that I think would probably do it:

That's 22 clans. I would guess 3-5 will decline the invitation but most will accept.
Any other clans with at least 4 members that is interested please let me know asap. If we somehow end up having more than 20 clans accept, the leaders of each clan and I will allow 18 clans (based on age and skill and size) in automatically and the remaining 3 or more clans will have a small round robin to determine which 2 of them make it in. I would anticipate somewhere between 15 and 18 clans actually being in this clan league though.

yep the amount of games last time was a little much i thought, however we will probably be there again.

how do you plan on orgainising the league with 20 Teams in it?

one big league or seperating them into smaller ones

for my 2 pence worth i have a preference of one of the following rather than one league of 20 clans which would take ages or would have to many games at once


Either

4 smaller leagues of 5or so clans moving up and down the leagues maybe 2 winners and 2 losers going up and down. use season 1 to determin the leagues and then any new clans would be added to the bottom leagues (This would be my preference)

or

each season having 4 random divisions of 5or so clans and then all the top 1-2 teams from each divisions play in a single elemination tournament to determain the winner

We are in. I just have to say that the difference of point between 3v3 and 1v1 is too much. It's like 1v1 skills are considered less then 3v3.

Isn't that possible to make it 1 point 1v1 1 point 2v2 and 3 points 3v3?

VIW is in, however I will let the people temporarily using my account sort out the teams as I have limited access to WL.

Hellbender, you did not come up with this. The first one was made before you even joined warlight.

There would be no extra games compared to the last clan league. Last time took longer than I liked because of 5 day autoboot instead of 3 day. This one will be 3 day autoboot with 3 games at a time on each of the tournaments.

I personally don't like the idea of a smaller clan league for this one because there are so many new clans...However I think this one could be used to sort divisions for your idea, Mac.
