Oh it's most definitely cheap and merits blacklisting. Doesn't merit an outright ban though since the information was available to all to take advantage of. Had any one of the other players payed attention to the settings they would have prevented the deception from working.

It's just trolling. Unfortunately, more people agree with the trolling, so there's no rule against it. Blacklist trolls and move on. The only thing this significantly influences is his win rate, and such stats are already easily abused. It wastes his time more than yours, so why it let it bother you?

Read read read the settings. Those bonuses were available to everyone. Same he as you could get it. He is not first and not last who do changes like that. Overridden bonuses are easy to spot at the end on "settings"
