The basic idea of the stage strike tournament comes from other games where people can play on multiple stages. The idea is to get a stage (map/template) that both players generally like, but not giving too much of an advantage to either one.

Your list of 1v1 templates will be used when you are put against an opponent. Alternating between your list and the opponent's list in a cyclic fashion, templates will be struck from the bottom of the list until there is only 1 template left*, which will be the template played in your match.

*Stopping at 3/5 templates left for Bo3/Bo5, if applicable
