I just found this link on reddit. It may explain why warlight has been slow lately. Weren't the servers here just moved to Amazon?

Amazon Web Services has confirmed that its Elastic Block Storage (EBS) service is experiencing degraded service, leading sites across the Internet to experience downtime, including Reddit, Imgur and many others.

There was indeed an outage in the same data center that hosts WarLight. However, it didn't bring the entire data center, only parts of it. And it so happens WarLight wasn't affected.

The slowdowns were actually caused by the server setup. They should all be resolved now. I plan to reveal more details on the blog soon.
