What should I do with territories like Kosovo and Taiwan and Abkhazia and Western Sahara? Include them in the parent country bonus? Make them seperate countries? Something else? And if you think I should do different things with different disputed territories, please explain what and why. And thanks for the help in advance.

Considering the fact that the world map makers who were planning on building a map of equivalent scale(Issander, deyman)have been delayed because of the problems that come with such a large map, I look forward to you map and wish you well.

You could go about this in 2 ways: The first would be to merge them with the parent country bonus. I could see Abkhazia falling into this category, and maybe Transnistria, North Cyprus, and South Ossetia(if you can fit them). Taiwan, Western Sahara, and Kosovo might have their own bonuses because they are recognized by more than one country. The other way is to have these areas as having their own bonus worth 1 or 0 armies per turn.

If you are also planning on including territories that more two or more internationally recognized countries are fighting over(Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh, the Falklands, the Spratly Islands), then give that territory to the bonus of the controlling nation, or in the case of islands and overseas territories, give them their own bonus.

Mine will be hopefully finished in a month.

I expect Fizzer to agree on having some lands not fitting the army number on such a big map. If he disagrees, meeting this requirement may take me another month.

@Traintown, I wish you good luck, but you will find some serious problems while making such a big map. I will give you two advices that you should consider from the start:

- make the territories as simple as possible, otherwise you won't be able to fit under the maximum file size.
- make the bonuses as big as possible, especially if you have slow computer. I've found myself unable to add anymore bonuses after I've reached about 500 of them. Even if you will be able to do that, adding any bonus at that point will take you a lot of time.

Also, you can find some more informations in threads from few months ago.

As for your question, do whatever you feel is right, but be consequent about it.
