Season IV is possible, but there are better templates.

I would say hearing commentary on tactics not based on picks and intel would be great.. cause it should be a bit different to gameplay after manual dist.. maybe you could try it at least once.. but it would be hard to find a balanced template for that i guess..

The template I'm using for week #11... you could basically pick anywhere on the board and it could be justified so long as you follow some coherent plan. So yes, in a way it will be skill-based and not pick-based. :)

hmm one of the symmetrical, geometry-based boards rather than maps? :)

why not Season VI?
I know you may be annoyed by the lack of picks, and say that it is all about how lucky your picks are, but it is also about guessing where your oppenent is and so on.
