Especially if youre fizzer. These are a few things that would make looking at old games easier and more informative.

being able to watch a game with fog from the perspective of either player
being able to look at turn 0 with all sets of players picks superimposed over the map
being able to order games using a tag and search system
a new statistic "armies lost due to luck" because cumulative luck is a bad approximation for what players actually care about; how many armies did my bad luck cost me?
having the statistics and history superimposed over the map rather than in a seperate window
being able to look at the orders each player submitted for a turn

This thread reads like a necro. Better ask for anonymous games too.

This is what i get for making a stupid title. The only person who read the post properly was fucking X and he made some bullshit witty one liner.

Picking stage: pick one territory at a time (I pick, you pick, I pick, you pick, etc.).

This would be really cool as a setting, has anyone put this in the uservoice?

i don't think would be a good idea, bc you would know where the opponent is picking. So you can easily counter him...

gnuffone - not really it was discussed before.

it would either be:

- player A picks,
- system shows B what A picked
- player B picks
- system shows A what B picked
...

or

- player A picks
- player B picks
- if it is free, he gets it,
- if it was picked by A, B picks another spot until he picks a free spot.

exactly what i say. If system show me for each pick what opponnet done, it will be easier the picking stage and is pretty stupid. I think would be a mess for the picking stage.

@piggy
you pick one territory at time, and after each of your pick, you will know where opponent is (if you lose one spot you picked, you know where the opponent is, and you can coutner him with the next pick...

^ what gnu said. You don't have to predict from the very beginning. You can alter your picking strategy as you go..

one thing he did not mantion - this would enable you to make sure you don't end up with one region only, when you don't want it .. e.g. in a 2v2 game i played with GS yesterday, he got 1st, 2nd, and 11th pick, which was bordering the two other and made him hopeless with an enemy next to his spot..

The thing you don't end up with only one region is called picking skill.
For this i really dislike the idea to change the actual picking stage. Would became too easier make picks...
