I'd like a "multi-transfer" option similar to the "multi-attack" option.

At present, Warlight allows you to play with the Risk-ism that armies can travel faster through enemy territory than friendly with multi-attack, but not the reverse, what is far more realistic. This feature would address that.

It should not be hard to make, because it is very similar to multi-attack.

Please vote for it on uservoice:

Some risk spin-offs I've played have this option. You can travel to any territory as long as it is connected to the original territory. I don't think this is better though. I prefer the one-space-at-a-time :)

Well, I think the idea makes sense (Multi attack/Multi transfer just seem to go hand-in-hand) but then again, that's why we have airlift cards.

WarLight used to have this feature. However, after testing it, we found it really wasn't fun. So it was removed and replaced with the multi-attack that we have now.

If you dig around you can find some old games that used it. The problem is it allows infinite amount of delay since you can just transfer armies back and forth forever. If it was ever brought back, there'd have to be some sort of limit instated.

Is it maybe possible that when you transfer armies in a territory for a second time that those armies will stop in that terretory? That way there is a limit of moves you can make.

I think "we" are the Players who dit test multi-transfer. Not we warlight community.

But I thought that between two territories there can only be two orders per turn (one in each direction) so it can't be really infinite.

No. In multi, you can order multiple attacks through the same territory.

I think... I remember I game where I believe I did that, or at least ordered it.

Yes, but only if the enemy retakes that territory in that turn before you attack it again. If not your armies will stay there because it will be a transfer, or when your attack was attack only your arnies will not attack your own territory.

Multiple attacks, both from territory A to territory B, in the same turn?

No, that is not posible, if you try that you will only modify the order.

So that should also be the case for multi-transfer.Therefor i can not understand how you "can just transfer armies back and forth forever".

Fizzer, can you give the link of the multi-transfer games please?

Moros, no. They are saying with multi-transfer you could go from A to B and back to A indefinitely as a stall tactic. You can technically do so now with multi-attack but as soon as a transfer happens the series is stopped.

Also, MA will always be finite, as it requiters you to capture a territory, with will force you to leave 1 armies behind. MT, don't, and if following MA rules it could theoretically be infinite.

Edit: Air-Lift card is different, as no connections between your territory is required.

I agree %100 with fizzer. Allowing an infinite delay is a bad idea.

You're right. However, in the old days, multi-attack allowed issuing subsequent attack/transfers on top of existing ones. So back then, infinite moves were possible. Look at turn turn 17 in http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=1000063

So a multi-transfer option, should it become implemented, should have the same limitations as multi-attack, meaning that there can only be one attack/transfer from A to B per turn. I think I can live with that restriction!

Moros, even in that scenario you could buy 20+ delay turns simply by moving 1 army all around West China and East Russia back and forth. Too easily manipulated
