I shall deign to grace this filthy thread in order to defend Gui, the greatest commenter this board, and the internet as a whole, has ever known.
At first glance he may appear to be a very petty Homo sapiens, determined to shatter the credibility of his competitors, and coming across as a giant asshole in the process. He may take things very seriously up until he is proved wrong, at which point he deflects the criticism with sarcastic humor.
But like with the music of Frank Zappa (king of the capybaras), behind the embarassingly juvenile facade lurks true genius. You see, Gui's tireless campaign to improve the quality of these forums, ravaged as they are by the lowest of the low (you know who I'm talking about), has taken the form of performance art. Gui is simply taking on multiple personae, except when he isn't, and nothing he says should be taken literally, although if you do take him literally you will find that everything he says is completely correct, and that his wit is unparalleled.
These personae are simply delectable slices of irony and satire, a ruthless, insightful take-down of everyone who isn't Gui, and thereby making him feel as superior as he deserves to be, since he is.
If you don't like Gui, it is simply because your brain is too under-developed to comprehend him on the countless levels on which he operates. But I wouldn't expect any more from a stupid monkey.
