I just checked. There are some differences between the Eastern Asia map that already exists and the map I have in mind:
1, Eastern Asia does not include all ASEAN countries (Indonesia is missing);
2, Eastern Asia is 500+ territories; I'd like to see a map of 130-160 territories;
3, Eastern Asia bonuses seem to have 10+ territories per bonus; I'd like to see a map with bonuses of 4-10 territories (like the Europe map).
Not really. That map does not include all ASEAN countries (where is Indonesia?). That map has 504 territories (not 130-160). And that map does not have all bonuses with 4-10 territories.
East Asia and Oceania is close but not quite what I have in mind. EAO is meant to be a strategic alternative to Medium Earth for 1v1s and 2v2s. What I'd enjoy is an Asian map about the size of the Europe map (in terms of territories) and with similar bonus sizes -- a strategic alternative to Europe.
Additions I'd make to EAO:
1, slightly more territories on the continent and in Japan
2, much more territories in Philippines and Indonesia
3, get rid of small islands, add Guam and a couple other islands to connect everything
4, add Hainan, Singapore, and Hong Kong island
5, more islands for Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia
etc.
Why are Kyrgyzstan and Inner Mongolia-Ningxia connected??
To save you some time:
Missing connections
kyrgyzstan <-> Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan <-> Afghanistan
Yunnan (south-west China) <-> Guizhou-Guangxi
Uluru (australia) <-> Tennant
Uluru <-> adelaide
Also do two-digit armys fit in the territories of Phillipines??
Thanks. Laos could be. It's so narrow though. Out of respect for a best friend from childhood, maybe it should be.I'm still thinking about the Philippines.
