Their picks were clearly better. Maybe better 2vs2 players than i am could've done better but i think that there was absolutely no way to pick better than they did on that board.

In most scenarios they would get the exact same thing using these picks as they would using their mirror picks, with the exception that one person cannot end up with N africa and Samerica, which are useless together, without the enemy getting Wafrica which is total useless on its own. There is less chance of them splitting scand/greenland which are clearly better together.
