Lust (Gui), A lot of my gameplay depends on my focus. If I am focused, I would have an above 1900 rating in the ladder. If I am not, my rating goes down to about 1800. I would say the apex guys saw that when I was focused, I am good, and they probably also realize that I have always improved fast and will work at getting better at warlight. Right now I have too many games to focus on all of them, but as I lower my game count, you will see my gameplay improve.

JSA - aren't you also in P, X, and what you have decided to make a clan [20]?

In past 1v1 games, Pulsey was the more impressive player. Neither of you are bad players. Have not had the fortune to play 3v3 with either of you to make a comparison.

Regardless, airing out reasons why someone was not included in a clan on an open forum is not the right way to handle things and would have hoped that you possessed more decency than that.

Hyde, I was in [P] and [X] and CPU at one time as well. [X] died, with CPU there was really not much inter-clan activity like I was hoping for but I'm still ok with playing with those guys, and with [P], some of the players weren't improving like I had hoped and some were not reliable teammates.

I don't know who you are so I don't know how I played against you. Perhaps I had bad games or something? Whenever I see Pulsey play, he almost always uses the same style. It works against unsuspecting opponents but whenever he gets to good players who have seen 1-2 of his games, it is much less effective. If he wants to be a good 1v1 player, he will have to be able to mix up his style so he is not so predictable.

I wouldn't air out reasons for anyone else but with Pulsey, I am tired of hearing his complaining and how he always says I and [WG] like to show off blah blah blah.

If I had to be in a different clan other than apex or [WG], I would say [WM] would definitely be my next pick. They are all good team players and nice too. I thought the clan was going to die off with that mass kicking out of players and when X and NoobSchool, and some others left. But I have to give it to Red for standing strong and working to make the clan strong again. Troulussa, Gnuffone, Retrospecka, Dead piggy, and some others I am sure i am forgetting were very good recruits for them.

As for who you are Dr. Hyde, I would guess Boston Phoenix.

Both of your guesses in this thread are wrong.

Lust is not Gui. Gui has publicly stated that he has been told not to make alts and thus is not Lust.

And I am not Boston Phoenix.

Russel - I am more surprised by so few apexes or AHoLs being at the top lately.. And yes, i would very much like to see the ladders as the proving ground for the clans. Seeing dynamic changes between clantags on the top would be great. A pity so many of the top players quit and rejoin ladders - it would be so much more accurate if inactive ladder players maintained their place on the ladder until their ranking was beat by other players instead of not ranking them at all... (with a small inactive icon for those who remain while not playing ladder, and unranking inactive players after their not expired game-count falls below 15)

Pulsey - I wouldn't say every member of WM is an excellent 1v1 player, but every WM is excellent in either teamgames or 1v1s and very good overall.

JSA - i would very much like to see the outcome of apex vs [WM] overall challenge as well.. And i would like to see more competition between the two clans on the ladders - especially on 1v1 where apex have some extremely good players.

WM should send every player with every other WM player into the race for the top 2on2 ladder spot.

As for WM, i knew before i applied the chances of joining are slim. I managed to win both games, but apparently I'm not much of a team player :/ no surprisees there :/

Lust, you played very well in your game against Trollussa, even after your bad picks. Did you not know it is impossible to get both your 1st and 6th picks?

Anyway, WM now holds positions 1, 3 and 4 on the 1v1 ladder.

I believe those are the only eleven possiblities for the order of the picks you get on Strategic 1v1 (or any 1v1 game with 3 starting positions for each player).

I often pick the 6 pick as a counter on the 4 and/or 5 picks because if you get 6, you will not get 4 or 5. Another option for a 6 pick is a safe bonus from other picks.
