I am looking for around 5 other players that play frequently and are willing to share an alt for strat 1v1 with me.

No, that is the Idea of warlight tutoring.

I will make an account which is shared with more players and each of us plays with it independently of each other.

So other players playing the account will have no idea what to expect.
Hopefully that would be an interesting experience for them, especially if they play it more than once.

You log in and play strat 1on1s like you would normally do.
Everybody else does the same.

This idea is in the alpha stage, I basically want to see what can be made out of the concept.

I suppose what confuses me is exactly what this offers the opponent that simply playing a random autogame doesn't if they don't check the stats of the opponent in the autogame.

Other than I suppose that while this account doesn't guarantee the opponent is playing someone very good there's probably still a better chance that they are than if playing Arbitrary Account #27.

Well i considered different ideas of playing with multiple people in one game, but they all would require multiday games, a format I do not enjoy particularily much.

So the only other option i can think of is having them play independent games. But I agree, the concept is still lacking and might be buried before it comes to life.

What other idea with multiple players i can think of as well, would require very good players.

Every player that shares that account with me can select a region on the World Map. When playing other players with that account, he would have to make at least one pick in that region, if it is not a wasteland. If it would contain a wasteland he would have a secondary or tertiary region to pick.

That would guarantee intersting and challeging games for the players sharing the account with me by imposing some kind of external handicap. If you are up for this idea, saddle up.

@Warlight God, I am not taking alts to share my alt. That would somehow undermine the concept.

If I create a thread asking for alts to share my main with me, i will ask you again. Until then you would have to tell me your main account.

I'm not picky about which region, but the idea of playing a specific region seems interesting, at least that has something that separates it from just standard play.

Also seems similar to your picking style on Namib in the sense that handicapping yourself at picks requires you to play better to pull out the win later on. I tried picking like you did on Namib a few games just to see how well it'd work, and I found myself losing or nearly losing due to very small minute errors that normally would have next to no effect on the outcome of a game with more orthodox picks.

Having someone that is forced to triple pick, but not a specific region could lead to interesting games as well I suppose actually.
