Okay, so I know that the vacations thing has a limit for a reason, and I respect that. But I live in Alaska, and about once a month me and my family go to a bigger city on what we call a 'supply run' because we don't have any stores within 350 miles of us. These runs normally last about 3-5 days, and it's somewhat discouraging for me to just now realize that I basically can't play any games because once a month I have to leave for a more extended period of time where I can't get on to play. I'm kinda asking for imput/especially mod feedback on if there's anything that can be done to help my playing situation.

play real time games would be my only suggestion

Play long boot multis and tell the players in short and join a clan or group of realible players to play with.

Get an android phone and play on the go

Create your own games with boot times long enough that you won't get booted (5-7 days direct boot).

Try to explain in the chat why you are unable to play, and the exact date and if possible time you will return, they are less likely to boot you (as long as you don't join with noobs).

Like ryan said, stick mainly to real-time games.

Join/create games with short boot times (25hr autoboot) as soon as you return, try to play as often as possible, and hopefully the games will be over by the time you have to leave again. (Then use one of your vacations if you have to - you get 5 a year.)

And if you have android/iOS then you can get the beta of the mobile version - but I think that might still be members-only for now.


The only 'moderator' is the game creator. I don't think he helps people with things like this any more.

you can also try mailing Fizzer asking for more holidays then usual if you buy a membership. it wouldn't be that unreasonable imho, given the circumstances. but i'm also sure the limit on number of times you can go on holidays per year exists for a good reason.

Low boot % does not work that way. That refers to how often the players have been booted. This has no bearing on how likely they are to boot you. If anything, you are more likely to be booted since you are more likely to have an active opponent.

to be fair +1 win when you have a 20% win rate and 15 games played will actually help you, while +1 win when you have 55% win rate and 300 games played won't matter much

Honestly i havent even checked my win rate in like three months i dont care bout it kuch inhave an honor code i dont boot until i give fair warning(ine day in multiday games and ten minites in real time) before i boot that seems like fair warning to me i rarely boot i hate when people bootmme with no warning at all it makes me angry and i blacklist these people( i have a pretty extensive black list lol)((i winder hiw many of you even see these emoticons))
