This thread will probably sink as fast as the music threads but I thought it would be interesting to see some art from players. It can be painting, comic book art, sculpture or even a music performance. If interpretive dance is your thing I want to see it. So share your art whatever it is.

I posted a few paintings once before and they were deemed unfit for sensitive Warlight eyes. So you only get the tame stuff.

This one was a request from my sister.

He was a primitive man beast type character. He would bite the turnbuckle and rip out all the foam padding so he could throw people into it.

Nice work Banana. They should at least replace duel with your masterpiece.

Bananashake, the way you captured the subtle ambiguity of the two potatoes conversely representing the necessity of life and yet simultaneously the futility of life is just incredible. The spoon representing the way we are fed with life, but the fork representing how we are all eventually stabbed with Death.

Its absolutely sublime.

In the foreground you can also see a plate and cup. The empty cup of course depicting the way that no matter how much you try to empty the cup, it will still have air in it, so you can never have a truly empty cup, nor can anyone have an empty heart, no matter how unloved you feel.

The plate represents the mystery of life itself, as the spanish word word plate, plata, sounds like platypus, which is a very mysterious animal.

Also I won't even mention the artistic allusion to the infinite nature of time that the table depicts. The way it stretches into the background with no clear end is similar to the way that the universe will never truly end. The chairs of course representing our "seat at the table" that we as humans currently occupy, but we as well as all other things come to an end, but the universe, the table, will continue on infinitely without us after our meal.

A friend and I made this robot suit for a video project. Mostly duct tape, some foil and spare computer parts.

All of the maps people on this site have created can count as art.

It's a bit warm in there and the visor fogs up after about 30 seconds but it was still fun.

last album i put together a couple years ago, some ambient drone with field recordings. Slightly ethereal / psychedelic:
http://auricularrecords.bandcamp.com/album/a-moment-to-sleep

one of my old tracks was also remixed and used in this realtime demo, here is a youtube capture:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVSDDW1mjAU

also coded a 4k for the browser at some point:
http://www.tpolm.org/~ps/recyclebinladen/leviathan_sun/

and used screenshots of that to do a series of composite images (click for another image):
http://www.tpolm.org/~ps/mana_burn/

haven't had much time for "the arts" lately though. fried my external soundcard and have been too busy coding and project managing for work to have free time to just create something new again.

I like both of those a lot. Excellent use of color. The chair is cool too. It reminds me of the unforgiving playgrounds from my childhood.
