I need shorter games. If Fizzer tweaks the boot time (with his new settings), I will go back to it.

Personally I would be fine with 3 mins on deployment and 1-2 mins after that. I think a lot of players would disagree with me though :(

We aren't all as clever as you or has as fast an internet connection as yours, Sir Arun, please cut us some slack.

Me too. I don't know the perfect time, but IMO a real time game should last a bout half hour, not 45 min-hour on average (not sure if that is true, but seems like it to me).

If games are lasting an hour+, the ladder is not a true real time one IMO. Yes, the moves are made in real time, but you force people to quit games because of their busy schedule, not based on actually losing.

I have played a lot of ladder matches on Starcraft and rarely is a game an hour long, even in a 3v3 game where you can easily win short handed (unlike in Warlight where being shorthanded with cards is a HUGE penalty).

Pulsey, they aren't the only reasons people may disagree :/ the reason I don't expect my preference to be implemented.

I agree with you totally Chris. I'm lucky I have some time at the moment for it though :)

As the title states.

The few times I look at it there is no players usually :( In fact I'm on the ladder now with another player but no games are created :/ I think that you can't play the same person twice in a day but not a single games was made o.O

Edit: Posted this and the game appeared lol How much time do you need to wait? I though the system checked every 5min but that seems wrong...

It is every 5 mins. Perhaps the other player was in a game so couldn't play you. Once you have a game you can leave ladder :)

I agree RTL is not active enough. I don't know why though :/ it's such a good idea.
