Now I want an option to allow only people of a certain nationality to join a game or tournament! :-)

Just in case someone doesn't want to have a country flag on his profile. Is it able to remove it?

That would be discrimination... Not to mention pointless, since it's looking at your current location, which doesn't necessarily mean anything about (for instance) which languages you speak. Not-overly-far-fetched example: if you or I go on vacation in Poland, we'll get a Polish flag as soon as we open the WL website and are suddenly able to join the Polish-only games (which are probably Polish-only because they want to speak Polish in chat). It'd also mean you cannot join a Dutch-only game while you're on vacation (which may be exactly the time you want to, after not having seen a single word of Dutch for over a week).

@Everybody who wants to hide their flag:
Why the super strong reactions!? Do you have such bad experiences with being stalked you don't even want other people to know which country you're in? I'm all for privacy and agree (on general principle) it would be better if it could be switched off, but it surprises me just how distraught some people are.

Regarding the size of the flag, it indeed looks slightly weird. However, I don't think it's actually caused by the size of the flag; the real culprit may be the lack of spacing between the icons. I fired up the debugger and added style="margin-left: 16px" to the flag icon, which makes it look a lot better.

Just out of curiosity you click Fizzer's profile link, see the American flag... then out of the corner of your eye you see his list of achievements... and for some weird reason your brain insists on noticing the absence of the "Played WL during beta" achievement!?

Well, there's also a game option to only include members, which must be equally pointless. But you're right, my feature would work better if it were fixed countries you can pick and keep.

Non-members only is not pointless (membership tournaments etc). I can't think of a reason for members only, unless the creator wants to reward Members with cool settings :D

Nope. The issue is that they're in the wrong order! Swap them around, then space out the icon. It'll work.

How many places are counted as countries? And what have territories that belong to a country that aren't part of a country? (e.g. Isle of Man)

I believe it was at Fizzer's discretion to a point, and the program he used too. I'd expect Isle of Man to come up as the country, but Hong Kong to come up separately. Wonder what a Falklands player shows as :)

Creating tournaments where only players from the same country are allowed to team up would be a complicated but useful thing.
