Normal fog isn't best or most fun for all maps and settings. Light fog lets everyone know too much about bonus locations, making some games a bit too predictable. The spy card shows everything, which isn't always best. The reconnaissance cards are crap shoots (if I make the right guess with my card and the enemy doesn't I have a significant intel advantage I probably didn't earn).

How about a new fog setting? Medium fog: same as normal fog except instead of seeing only one territory away you see two, but the second one is like light fog (color only, no numbers).

This would be more natural. In real life the depth of vision usually fades away gradually, not suddenly (like normal fog).

(I say this because I have a great template in mind but none of the card or fog options would work, and medium fog would be perfect.)
