1. pick one european country and two colonies YOU MUST PICK EVERY TERRITORY IN YOUR COUNTRY AND WHATEVER IS LEFT OVER GOES INTO YOUR COLONIES UNLESS YOU ARE RUSSIA THEN YOU PICK ONE EURO BONUS -these are the only European countries that can be picked Spain, France, Britain, Poland, Germany, Italy,Turkey, Estonia, Latvia,Lithuania, Russia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Portugal, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Belgium, Netherlands, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia

2. pick one of your territories within your country to be your capitol

3.you can make alliances they must be announced in public chat

4.if your ally goes to war with someone you have to go to war with them as well unless your also allied with both of them

5.you must declare war in public chat the turn before you attack anyone

6.if you attack someone without declaring war or break any of these rules you will be declared public enemy PUBLIC ENEMIES CANNOT BE SUPPORTED BY ANYONE IN THE GAME

7. if your capitol is captured you have two turns to recapture it if you fail to capture it in two turns you have to pick a new one if this happens 2 more times you must surrender

your colony picks must be on the coast

just a quick tip, it's usually better not to include a rule if people break the rules(i mean the public enemy thing) or some people decide to break the rules because they think being "public enemy"is fun.

The misconception being that you presume warlight players in a roleplaying template to be altruistic in their actions....they're not.
All they care about is self preservance. So instead of aiding someone who has been wrongly treated by a "public enemy" they would rather befriend this public enemy if this guy has more income then them out of fear of losing their own income.

Furthermore, this whole way of playing just takes all the fun out of being a smaller nation for not only do the initial stronger countries have more income to start out with, diplomatically they can also browbeat everyone around them into doing what they want.

i actually have a pretty good invite list now with good roleplayers, but it gets smaller every game. :(it's harder than one might think tofind people who aren't purely interested in winning and who play by the rules
