I was following along, happily watching the game, and suddenly high played an abandon

@piggy - yeah, the 1st tourney was identical to the 1v1 ladder template and the 2nd was as well initially. But, I added the Abandon card at the last minute.

I'm curious to hear others' views on the value of the Abandon card, as I'm strongly inclined to include it in future tourneys.

I find the abandon very valuable as it can be used to counter attacks- However it`s obviously hard to predict.

(I guess I mostly use abandon to self-eliminate - I am perhaps not be the sanest player around.)

As much as I enjoyed high's use of the abandon, I generally find it rather cheap compared to a blockade. Since blockade has to happen at the end of the turn, there's always a chance to counter it, which means the player has to plan its use better... or take a risk.

Abbandon card is nooby.

Thanks all. I had to play someting unusual to win against grona. I tried....it worked. I was also lucky he didnt take Greenland bonus turn before.
