I really don't believe he makes any money off the site (might be losing), so I don't know what the point of this thread is.

BTW, there are a couple clans that had no members and went away, so the total amount in post #1 is not correct.
EDIT - I see there is a clan 140: http://warlight.net/Clans/?ID=140 so I am guessing there have been 140+ registered clans.


I have no beef with the price of a clan. It would be nice to have a clan ladder/ranking system, but outside that I think it is an acceptable value. Like the membership, the price is not the issue. But with the contribution made to the sight, people do expect new benefits once and a while (as time permits). I think all this talk of money stems from the fact that almost all the member benefits are now level unlocks, which irritates people. I think a few more member only perks would alleviate any of this money talk at all.

i for one feel bad for Fizzer.. Poor guy slaves over this game maintaining it for nothing but scrapes.. then has to come here to forums and listen to idiots bickering bout paying money.. ya dont wanna pay then dont play the game, dont complain over Apples when we all using Oranges.. i fully support Fizzer and his Game of Warlight and intend to buy a membership to do so..(Once i get my check of course) ill even keep the ads on just so he can gain a bit more income by it..

i bought my clan last year because i thought it was a cool idea.

i dont have a membership because it doesnt offer me anything id want that i cant already get. i would buy one if it gave more exclusive features especially if they were related to map making, like one way attacks and triggers.

It's not snooping ask how much money is put into?
