Your beliefs / opinions are not an evidence, even though you are in REGL. Head to head results, or clan challenge are also not reliable, or at least not as reliable as this league. And I suppose few clans will join this league, so group C won't be made of inactive clans only. Inactive clans won't even join it I guess.

I agree with Widszisz though that one head to head challenge doesn't say a lot, but the playstyle and/or teamplay involved do say something

Aranka, in no way was I basing Relite off a 5vs5 match on Quad Earth with those settings.

However after seeing Relite players in tournaments and in ladders (they are solidly holding the number 1 spot in 2vs2). It is also a known fact after the WM clan challenge that Relite can give arguably the best clan in WL a run for their money. It might have been a bad day for WM, but still shows there is skill in Relite.

It seems to me this is kinda split between people who want Relite in Group A and people who want Relite in Group C. I think Relite should be in Group A just because they have done better than anybody on the 1v1 ladder except for Apex, [WM], and [WG], and on the 2v2 ladder they have done better than everybody except Apex and [WM]. I have a hard time keeping them out of the top league because they are easily top 5 in my opinion. I can understand why some people want to put them in Group C but I think it would be a shame to see them dominate all of those clans. So what about we do a vote and decide it that way? I vote for Relite to be in Group A. From now on, if some people think a new clan should be in Group A, we can take a vote on it and they have the chance to make it then.

JSA, imagine Promotion/Relegation league, where new players get voted where they should start to play. I don't think I would like to play there, that kills the idea of the league.

Also, just to clarify: I may sound a bit harsh for Relite, but it's not intentional, my language skills aren't as good as I would like them to be. I played with some of them, the ones I know well are rather good players.
I never said they don't belong to top 3 (or top X). I simply don't know why I should think they are better or worse than given clan or not. Maybe they are the best clan, maybe they are worse than XYZ clan: I don't know.

The rules should be the same for each clan, each new clan should be put in the lowest group. If we decide to put Relite in group A, the same problem will appear on and on in next seasons. I really don't like that voting idea, I don't think it's good for reputation of this league. Obviously C.

REGL players still have a lot of improving to do, we are good, but not great, especially not consistently. Also Relite were not formed last season, which is why they have no rating.

This is one clan, because from things you can see elsewhere it is obvious that they are one of the best clans in warlight. Most clans are not good enough to have a good chance at winning Group A in their first season, so would be ok to start in Group C.

THere's a big difference between the clan league and the promotional league. THe Promotion/REglation league was made for players to move around, the clan league was formed to put the top clans against each other and see how it goes. I think you make a good point, but I still am in favor of them advancing to Group A just because it makes more sense to me. And as for reputation, I don't care what nonclan people think about this league, I only care whether the competitors are enjoying it or not.

Hedja, right now it is just one clan but Widzisz is right, in the future there could be more. But you are also right that very few clans would even be considered for this.

Also, I would like to let the clan leaders know to go ahead and get your clan teams together, either make a game with me or post on here when your lineups are ready. A reminder for the settings: Strategic 1v1, East Asia & Oceania 2v2, and Europe 3v3(same settings as last season).

Okay, looks like its 2-2 right now, I'll give people 22 more hours to vote on it, then we'll know the leagues for everyone.

Well I suppose, as REGL's leader, I should weigh in. I do believe that REGL belongs in Group A, but that there's no reason for us to be there this season. We are better than WG and CPU (in my opinion) but we didn't prove that this season, so there's no reason we should be "given" a spot in A. Also, Relight has shown in countless other games and tournaments that they are one of the top teams in the game, and as this season is the first to have actual divisions, I think they should be given the spot over REGL. Do not worry, we will earn our spot in A by showing our skill in the game.

TL:DR REGL is good enough to be in A but hasn't shown that over the first two seasons. I would rather REGL earn their place through skill than be given a spot based on perception or pity.
