Based on the backdrop of the Boshin War period, the new campaign starts in 1864, a time of growing resentment against Western colonial power and influence. As Japan began to modernise and industrialise, the inevitable social and economic changes led to increasingly militant nationalism and antipathy towards the Shogunate.

There are Three superpowers in the game, they have come to spread their empire and influence. They can not attack eachother or the first three shogunates or attack any other clan. They can only attack if they are attacked

The three Shogunate clans are the last of the old era and home to the samurai's, their job is to spread their influence to all the other clan. To fight to the death for the homeland of the old era. They are not allowed to attack eachother or the other three superpowers or attack any other clan. They can only attack if they are attacked. Also they can not leave the shogunate.
Each neutral clan has to join either France, USA, Britain, shogunate, Neutral.
Once clans have joined one Three superpowers, They have to call themselves Imperial clans. Once clans have joined the Shogunate they have to call themselves Shogunate clans.
If a clan thinks that it is strong enough it can create it's own belief and spread it's influence, warning if you are not strong enough you may be destroyed by anyone, that doesn't like your ways(even superpowers)
Winning conditions: After 1 power (shogunate, france, usa, britain or other ) Dominates japan with it's followers.
War has to be declared 1 turn in advance, if you do not do so you could be a public enemy and be attacked without declaration. PVC is allowed to make agreements, trade and dimplomacy's. Gift, airlift and spy cards are allowed (A spy card will last the whole game) This is an RP game so role play and liberial use of chat is encouraged. Try to act as a leader of your faction, broadcasting your ideas, opnions and declarations.
