Attacking after a transfer/airlift: 10/26/2014 22:30:28

Suppose that, after I deploy into a territory, I have 50 armies. However, an airlift or transfer is called that brings an extra 30 armies into the territory. If my attack happens after the airlift or transfer, and I send an order to attack with 79, would all 79 armies attack, or would only 49 attack, because the territory only showed 50 armies after I deployed?

the airlifted armies are "used", only 49 would atacc. (same as if you transferred armies)

Edit: also airlifts happen before any atacc/transfer. So your attack will always be after the airlift.

The order you commited was to attack with 49, so your attack will be with 49

But suppose that I typed 79 into the box asking how many armies I want to attack with.

They can't be used for a second attack/transfer

Correct, you cannot use airlifted troops in an attack. However, if you were attacked before your attack (say you lift in, they hit with stack, you counter)...then in practice some of your airlifted troops died and you can still attack with the 49 you had there (unless they killed more than you airlifted of course).
