Looking for one with a good story as well as good character building. Decent action as well as a short a subtle story, Romance doesn't really matter.

SAO, Attack on Titan and Fairy Tail are all big anime series, so those are kinda obvious.
Black Lagoon is pretty good as well, but less of a story anime and more of an action anime :D
Clannad is probably the best story anime I`ve seen so far, but is not that well known. I would recommend it.

attack on titan is pretty good.

bakuman is also pretty good storyline/character. especially cool if you're interested on the world behind creating manga (not just reading). made by same duo who did death note.

have to check clannad. never heard of it before.

Never been a big fan of anime. Pokemon as a kid but that's it. I've tried watching it before but never got too into it, not finding it tasteful. But Sword Art Online was something I loved. One of the best T.V. shows I've watched I think. It's basically a show about a virtual reality game gone bad (you are trapped in the game and have to fight your way out -- Oh! If you die, you stay dead)

am also a naruto follower :) the manga seems to be almost ending though.

elfen lied was very good, perhaps a bit gory for some people.

deadman wonderland is also pretty nice.

used to watch ranma 1/2 ages ago, remember it was extremely silly :)

never head of sword art online, have to check it.

oh yeah, chobits was also pretty decent if you like storyline and kawaiiness :)

Sword Art Online is good-ish according to my more avid anime friends. I think it has a time slot on adult swim's toonami? Shrug.

One of the better made zombie anime out there, among other things.

Sword Art Online is good-ish according to my more avid anime friends.

The first part of season 1 is brilliant and then it goes downhill from there. Season 2 is a joke, I really hope it picks up a notch for the remaining episodes, but I'm not holding my breath :P
