If you lost then you did something wrong. If you lost against anyone who isnt a strat 1v1 specialist you did a lot of things wrong. When your loss is attributed to a mistake you made then you can reflect on how awful you are, and resolve to do better next time. This is the path of self improvement.

THE DOLPHIN also neglected to taking East China, which was probably THE DOLPHIN's biggest mistake in the game. But THE DOLPHIN think that THE DOLPHIN's tactical mistakes were minor and his opponents mistakes were major.
