In this game at picks, were Mannerheims 2,3,4 my 3,4,5 in the same order, yet I got my 4 and he lost his 3, my question now is, is this some kind of bug or why has this happened it's annoying to see this happen, if I got my 1,2,5 and he his 1,2,3 I think I would have had a better chance (not saying I would've won which I probably still wouldn't :p, but,...) Why did this happen?

you got first pick so you got your 1, then he got his 12, you then got your 2, but missed the 3 because it was his 2, so got 4, then he got his 4, because you got his 3, make sense? the picks o ABBAAB

I think this is perfectly fine.. Mannerhem got first pick, that means you get your two next avaible picks (1st and 2nd), then it\s mannerheims turn to get the two next avaible, wich was his 2nd and 3rd. So he ends up with 1,2,3 while you got 1,2, 5.

distributing picks in strategic 1v1 works like that:

warlight randomly pick a player.
that player gets his #1
then his opponent gets his two earliest picks.
then game returns to first player and gives him two earliest picks.
and then the second player gets his earliest pick so that both have 3 terrs.

so it's A BB AA B.

In your case you got first pick:

1) you get your #1 - West Africa
2) mannerheim gets his #1 and #2 - Central AM and Southeast Asia.
3) you get your #2 (North Afr) and #4 (Antarctica) <- you did not get your #3 because SEA was already given to mannerheim
4) Mann doesn't get #3 because it was given to you (Ant) so gets his #4 instead (South Africa)

If Mann had first pick, it would be a tad different:
1) Man gets CA (#1)
2) you get WAf, NAf (#1 #2)
3) Man gets SEA, Ant (#2 #3)
4) you get SAf (#5 - cause 4 was taken)

and you would end up knowing manns 2 terrs with him theoretically not knowing anything..
