IS there a way to avoid players on bl?

Like if a guy I've bl'd is waiting in the lobby, will it keep me from joining? Or if I'm waiting in the lobby, will people on my BL be banned from joining?

lawm - i'd say no, and no.. because it's basically how it happens in the autogame lobby - it comes down to the fact you are not the host.

besides - then you could easily game the system by blacklisting anyone able to beat you..

Hello, I would like to start off by saying warlight is one of the best online games I've ever had the pleasure of playing. I really appreciate how Fizzer has taken the time to make such a great game while keeping to his 'strategy only' policy to keep levels from meaning anything. Though I dont say much in the forums I have come to value the warlight community along with the game.

However, I dont support this coin system. Does warlight not make enough on adds to support itself? Why do we need this coin system? I think it would be acceptable to have a donate option if money is an issue. No doubt the community that really cares for what Fizzer has done will back that up.

I hope warlight doesn't turn into a pay to play game, as I fear it will.

That's somewhat unfortunate. Whenever I get an autogame against a BL player, I just surrender. Not a big deal as I won't use coins that often anyway, I was more curious.

@Fizzer, since you gave me no free coin when i click i'm under 18 (which states that i'm too young for coin games), could you give the option of hiding the coin games?

Not kissing ass, but Fizzer announced this a week ago and there weren't half as many people bitching as there are now.

I guess it is allowed to team up in the ffa especially since PMs are allowed. The easiest way to actually earn cash should be to play those ffa's as team games and alternate which player takes the victory. If the opponents don't also team up it's an automatic win.

If you really have no skill then team up as 3 players. If you win every third game you still make a little profit.

Can I please have the ability to disable the new endgame screen? I'd rather look at where my opponent is and gather that graph from the menu if I'm interested in learning about it.
While I understand the rematch button is good, I know how to manually rematch someone and I don't want to click close so i can look at what I'm actually interested in.

Ugh, so much for WL. This game is seriously going downhill with stuff like this.

Game of skill or not, playing for money is something I don't want to be part of.

here's my five cents
I don't really like this update. Warlight's focus used to be on the game and the users, now that's obviously shifted solely to making profit. I realize Fizzer put a lot of effort in this place over the years and deserves to earn from it, I just hope it doesn't ruin everything that made Warlight so unique and lovable place in the process.

Came to the forums to read about the coin tab and surprised by all this hate...do people realize Fizzer has to pay the bills?

Even if the idea repulses you, just don't play the coin games...simple as that.

Okay, i can't comprehend the indignation.
Those coin-games are an additional option and though it is very limited i think for people who want this it is quite fun.

If you don't want it just send me a message and i invite you to your first and last coin-game...

I think most of the indignation is from a fear that coin games will become the focus of the site to the detriment of the aspects that we all love. And I don't think that's an entirely misplaced fear.

I understand we're trying to avoid fraud here....but $75 is WAY to high. This factor alone means I won't be using this feature. That high of a limit makes it so that unless you're a god at WL, buying $5-20 is pointless, because you'll never get that money back, even if you win 60% of your games. I love the addition in concept, but I think it needs quite a bit of tuning for it to be effective or useful.

$75 is incredibly high.

Also there's a 10% house edge on 2 player games. And a 20% house edge on 4 player games. Those seem quite high also.

Especially when the house doesn't even have any risk. It's more of a rake.

I'm also slightly annoyed that this came as a higher priority over a competitive system for clans. I understand that one is more lucrative but....come on.

Thx Fizzer for this great upgrade! I like the coin games.

But that you can see the coin games in both the MULTI PLAYER -> Open Games tab, and at the COINS -> Open Games tab is a bit much. For the players that do not want to play coin games it might even be annoying.

Fizzer, please make a "Hide Coin Games" option just like the "Hide Lottery Games" or show the coin games only at the "COIN" tab.
