No idea how to break the tutorial (and get the achievement). I have literally broken the tutorial though.



Here, I am instructed to deploy to somewhere. It won't let me click begin, so I can't deploy at all (I'm stuck). I have completed the tutorial previously. The only things I did differently here were click 'Deploy' before the first bubble popped up, click 'Attack/Transfer' instead of next phase, and click 'Skip to end' instead of watch turn.

Is that how others broke the tutorial? If so, why don't I have the achievement?

I've done it three times now - the problem persists. I have isolated the problem; if you don't watch the first turn, next turn you see the 'Begin' button (which the tutorial doesn't recognise, trapping you). If you watch turn, you get directed straight to the deploy screen.

Probably best send a bug report, and this is not how to get "Tutorial Breaker" achievement - keep trying.

Can you describe what you mean by that? I tried using the skip-to-end button, the >> button, and also closing my eyes so I'm not watching it, but in all cases, I don't get the begin button on turn 2.

On turn one, after you (following the instructions) deploy, attack and commit, the tutorial asks you to click watch turn. When I click skip to end I find myself stuck in the position pictured above. I can't click begin, I can't deploy. If I follow the instructions and click watch turn, there is no problem - the begin button doesn't appear and I can deploy.

Ditto, I actually chuckled as I read that!

I broke it to following aruns description.

I did;

1. Enable begin click
2. Never clicking next phase, but using "a" and "z"
3. It breaks after you commit the first atacc orders.

okey, apparently I lost the first picture, but I were able to reproduce the bug.

Ahh, that's what I was missing!

Actually whether you watch the turn or not is irrelevant. The important piece to reproducing this bug is clicking deploy instead of begin on the first step. I'll fix this in the next update, thanks everyone for reporting it!

I wish i never saw this cause now i am just trying to get this achievement. I have no idea how to break through what the yellow bubbles want me to do.

I dont think its possible to get that achivement now... :/

It's actually very simple...

I don't see how you can win the tutorial in 3 turns when it doesn't let you deploy anywhere but where it tells you to for the first 3 turns. It is impossible to take Africa.

Given that numerous people have accomplished it, it clearly is NOT impossible to do.

Next time, try replaying immediately after beating the tutorial.

I can also confirm that getting the achievement is still possible - I did so myself this morning!

Yeah, you can take over if you play it right after.

I must be an idiot, but I don't see how you can win in 3 turns (getting Europe and Africa).

There are 18 armies to kill, you need 3 per spot minimum (chipping with 1's won't change that, you will in fact lose extra). So that is 27 armies. With no bonus I don't see it. You have to take North Africa first or you cannot reach bottom in 3 turns. So you can't get Europe.

What am I missing?

You don't need Europe to win the tutorial.

Also I just realized this is thread 6666 and it's about Arun breaking the game :P

Also, it is super annoying that you have to re-do the tutorial every time to try it after. Even if you don't sign out.
