When deciding colors, going to the change color screen says that the older player would get the color while the newer player would have to pick an alternate. However, in the game linked below, I get the default color (Electric Purple), while Ironheart has to change color.

No, because he has the option to decline the game still.

If it was a ladder match (or tournament game), then I think it would assign him his color (being the older member). But since he is not forced to join the game, it does not force you to pick another color.

I don't think tournament games are much different, though - both players were still invited at the same time, thus it should give Ironheart his default if he wants to join. I should get the color only if he declines.

I believe it has changed and is now calculated on points/level. Is Ironheart a higher level than you Rinrin?

That text is out of date, I will fix it in the next update.

Color priority is now given by level. If the levels are the same, it falls back to giving priority to the older account like it used to.

are those new fancy colors available for players with the appropriate levels, or can they only be used in games with over 24 players?

Don't worry, when everyone reaches the level max of 52, it will just revert back to oldest player.

It's just weird to see some of the old accounts that haven't played a lot since the 2.0 thing playing as strange colours.
