One thing I have been asked to do several times on Warlight is make a map of the USA during its earlier stages, while it was still a small nation, surrounded by colonial giants.

Well I can announce that I have started a new map series called USA Mainland, which follows the US mainland from independence to modern day. The first map is 1790, here's a preview:

Is this a continuation of the pre-colonisation map of the US?

Perhaps you should divide up those territories, and form the states and Colonial regions with bonuses instead.

I love the style, and how you dealt with the small territories. I love the whole idea of the series.

@ Жұқтыру : This is not a continuation of pre colonisation map is US as I did not make it, but It does start when the USA gets its' independence.

@ OnlyThePie : I did consider that idea but the town names and locations where changing so much back then (especially in the Spanish Colonials in the west) that some would be un historically accurate, as well as leaving the larger territories of New Spain still quite big as there population was very spread out.

To be honest, I don't think a map with 28 territories will get played much, if at all.

I don't think this map is a map that much players like to play, it looks good, but it is to small

I think that it is early to say that the map is small - surely the map is not finished and the big territories will be split into many.

I really like the style. It may become a great map, when finished.
