So I was bored, and started thinking about Alternate Histories. Basically, pick a changed event, and then describe what the world would be like in a year of your choice. I'll try to keep a running list on the main post:

Event: The Nazis Invade Turkey instead of Russia in '41, and defeat Russia in '43; Year: 1961////The Third Reich bears down over all of Europe and Africa. With the launch of Operation Spearhead in 1951, Canada and Alaska are also Under the threat of Germany. The Japanese and Italian leaders were "replaced" by Nazi puppets, and then officially integrated into The Reich. Argentina allied with the Nazis, and conquered South America, only to be annexed by the Nazis as well. The United States has been losing land since 1958, when Operation Stahlwand entered Northern America. Sub Saharan Africa is the only non-invaded region of the world, but their doom comes soon. There are no Jews left in Europe, and few in Asia. Labor camps are massive and hyper-industralized. Luckily, no side has yet to discover the Atomic Bomb.

Do you think in this alternate history there wouldn't be the Palestine war, ISIS, Ukraine conflict ect or will they just be replaced by civil wars and revolts

That was the First World War, not the second. There probably would not be Wars over the holy land (No jews to fight over it) The ISIS issue would not be a problem (Nazi control). Ukraine wouldn't be an issue (Nazis control it). There wouldn't be any civil wars, the Nazi's would be unstoppable

It would fall down in a couple of centuries, just like the Roman Empire.

I think Pie means that they didn't need atomic bombs and never got around to building that.

It would have been easier for the Germans to simply convince Turkey to fight with them against the Russians, who they'd also fought against in WWII. It also would have allowed Germany to threaten British troops in the Middle East and send German forces through Turkey into the Caucuses. They would have been able to get more oil from the Middle East, possibly defeat the British completely in the Middle East, and take the Russian Caucasian oil fields. This would have saved Germany an enormous amount of resources. After defeating or severely weakening British forces in the Middle East, Germany could have put even more resources into Operation Barbarossa. They could have taken Moscow instead of taking the oil fields, since they would already be taking them, and would have been able to cut off many of Russia's retreating forces in the south, and possibly have taken Stalingrad faster, instead of the enormous defeat it became and possibly the turning point in the war. It would have probably been a long and bloody war, but would have most likely ended in a German victory.

I think Italy becoming a German puppet state was more likely than Japan. Given the distance and the obvious ethnic/cultural/etc divides between them.

Of course it would be easier, but theoretics.

What happens to australia? I assume we get killed by japan in about 1945/46, but...

@Xedrox: That's the idea of Invading Turkey, but you have to remember Hitler wasn't a Military Genius, so lets just say he invades Turkey, and then goes 2-prong on Russia. With Japan, they aren't necessarily easily quelled, but at this point the Nazis would clearly crush them in a war.

Yes, sorry. That was a reading comprehension fail on my part.

The Japanese would have the advantage of complete Naval control of the Russian Far East, also without arms from the soviet union China would have fallen apart and fallen to the Japanese earlier. Thus crushing the Western Front and letting Japan focus all their forces on the East and eventually Australia.

So is the world controlled by Japan and Germany now?

If the World was controlled by Germany and Japan then Technology would have advanced much faster than it has before also there is a possibility that Germany and Japan would enter a Cold War similar to that of the United States and Russia. Also many Ethnics would be persecuted

German administration would eventually collapse due to the fragile system. Revolts would become revolutions and the world would become factionalized again.

It wasn't a fragile system, but when you rule that many people of that many religions and ethnicities and land, you're bound to die.

Well, the fact that the German plan called for forcibly sterilizing or cleansing anyone that wasn't part of the "Master Aryan Race". This basically consisted of Germans, the Swiss, the Swedish, some Eastern Europeans, some of the Berbers, and the Indo-Aryan and Indo-Iranian populations of British India and Iran, and some others that hadn't yet been determined. So revolts probably wouldn't be as common as you'd think, especially if YOU'RE classified as part of the "Master Aryan Race".

There would be MASSIVE guerilla warfare, considering that there's ethnic destruction going on. See how annoying Yugoslavia, Albania and Belarus were to the Axis. Multiply that times 10.

Note how anglo people aren't in that list... Controlling britain, ireland, india, USA, canada, australia, south africa (and so on) would be an absolute nightmare.

I genuinely believe that with Hitler in power the Reich would never get far. His delusions and temperament cost Germany a possible victory in the war and would have continued to do so beyond 1945, if the Reich had survived.

On another note, yes, there would be massive difficulty bringing conquered peoples into the fold. Its not like Warlight- places you take have people living that often end up hating you , especially when you show up already hating them by default. The Nazi war machine would have to devote more resources maintaining itself then expanding. It would then fall prey to its "allies", or to the long-term problem of having to contend with American-supplied rebels across entire continents. Also, eventually I believe the propaganda would fail, and the German people would either be disillusioned with their leadership or be so outnumbered by international conscripts that the face of the Reich would change completely, thus causing the nation to implode much as the USSR did in 1990.
