Finally reason won over fear and blackmail.
Sadly its 5 years too late.
Should have happened before the corrupt Berlin-Brussels-Frankfurt axis pulled out the money of the banks and substituted it with european taxpayers money.

But better late than never. Now greece can have a future again.

As a representative of the Berlin-Brussels-Frankfurt axis, we strongly reject the label of "corrupt". We prefer to be called "morally flexible"

Sad thing is, nobody gives a damn about Greece anymore. Greece is the old vintage but broken down car at the back of the garage. Everyone is trying to save it because it's a symbol, but deep down we all know we should cut it down and sell it for pieces. (Yes this metaphor sucks. Deal with it)

Not corrupt? Please explain the unelected leaders of the EU. And please explain quantative easing to me. I simply cannot understand that when a country like the Congo prints more money, you get hyperinflation but when the EU do it, it's a legitimate way of saving economies.

Ⓖ. Ⓐrun, quantitative easing is not corrupt. It's not just simply printing tonnes of cash and giving it to whoever they feel like. They have to buy things with an actual worth from banks in order to put that 'new money' into the economy.

You might not realise that if you go to a bank and take out a loan, the money the bank lends you didn't exist before they loaned it to you. You have to go out and earn money to pay back the loan by doing work in the real world for that created money to have actual value. If you default on a loan from a bank, you have actually devalued the currency that the loan was in.

Westminster decided to do some quantitative easing with the Bank of England in 2012. It won't solve economic problems, but it can give the economy a small nudge in the right direction if done correctly and in the right quantities.

The ECB fiddles around and alters the monetary base while buying Greek bonds. So, assuming this doesn't suddenly spark a huge increase in Greek people borrowing money after years of austerity, where does this leave the Euro?

falling below the dollar, but wait, the Euro is almost worth $2USD now, so y'all are ok until the whole scheme collapses. This is why the Eurozone never should have let Greece in, it got too big for itself. It was ok when it was just West Europe.

Ⓖ. Ⓐrun, some people from other EU countries slam the UK's euroscepticism as a result of ignorance and people being uneducated. So far you're doing a very good job of confirming that stereotype and giving the rest of us a bad name.

please explain quantative easing to me.

only difrence is that the ECB will not just be buying directly from financial institutions, but rather from the governments of individual member states. (This adds a link to the top of the chain, extending the domino effect needed to push down interest rates and encourage borrowing and spending.)

Please explain the unelected leaders of the EU.

That is the result of the fake democracies in the EU countries. of course we don't want unelected people leading the EU. this is another example that the leaders of the EU countries that are making decisions against the will of the people because they are not bound by law like in switzerland.(That is also why switzerland never joined the EU).

I'm not Swiss, I just prefer their democracy. I never been to Switzerland, but i heard that they are cold hearted... Maybe that is also the downside of having a real democracy... When the people truly rule their country, they really have to think about what the best chooses are, using there head instead of their feelings...

But even so, i prefer a world where people have to use there head, instead of getting deceived. I believe the majority of the people is smart enough to make good decisions of their own. Switzerland a land of linguistic, religious, and cultural diversity has tested it sind 1291 and i think it has shown that it works really well.

Examples of them making good decisions, and not short sighted are the outcome of all there referendums.
like the Switzerland’s voters overwhelmingly rejected a proposal to introduce a nationwide minimum wage of 22 Swiss francs per hour, or about CHF 4000 per month. or that they blocked the purchase of 2.5 billion euros worth of new fighter jets for the Swiss military.

The covermands of EU countries can make whatever decision they like after the votes. But i dont think that they make better decisions as the majority of the people. So why are we not controlling them like in Switzerland? Therefore i see our fake democracy as inferior to there democracy and as the source of many problems.

p.s. "their cheese" with French bread is my favorite food. :)

I agree with Orange about Switzerland, their democracy is an example for the European Union which is clearly NOT a democracy, where only eurobureaucrats decide and vote, and always do shit. And the only time we could vote like in 2005 about the Euro treaty or constitution, they neglected our votes (Netherlands and France). Now we no longer trust this Euromafia. The leaders of the EU (the useless Europresident, the leader of the European Comission, etc etc) are not elected by us but just chosen by a small minority of corrupted euro deputies and the Eurobank... Now you see better why Europe is doomed.

Anyway, good luck to Greece, Merkel is trying to enforce her Diktat to all Europe without success as we saw this sunday.

νοίγουμε δρόμο στην ελπίδα.

You should also know, "real democracy" can also be a miscarriage, Switzerland this majority rule, amount of true democracy, but if the majority is wrong, they can make wrong decisions and immoral,
