The game was fairly equal, though I did have a slight advantage from picks: I knew he had SEA and I had WR to counter Scan. My picks in SA/CA were safer than his Scan and Asia. We both had equal income, so in the end the game was decided by some drunken maneuvers around Middle East.

#14 is at https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?TournamentID=13327. Good luck to whoever joins!

I'm not entirely sure I was winning when he surrendered. He had higher income and more armies on the board, but I did have an advantage in position. If he played order priority and transferred his stack into Tomsk + deployed the rest to Kenya, it might have been enough to equalize with careful play for a few turns.

I've decided to experiment with something different, so I created a large 1v1 round robin with only one game going on a time. If I like this setup more, I'll consider doing that more often instead of single matches. I do plan on continuing to analyze my games, both wins and losses. With this new tournament idea I've decided to track some statistics of participating players, which should be fun! The tournament can be viewed at https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?TournamentID=13342, and I look forward to playing the people in it. Good luck!

Puh, you should start playing games against better players before doing this humpty-dumpty analysis. All you do here is crave attention for wins against players that pick and play pretty poorly. One halfway decent opponent and you lose quickly, as seen in other games.
You won't improve by doing this. And looking at the participants of this tournament, that won't change.
Go out and play your games without spamming them on the forums. They're nothing special. Analyze them yourself.

Yep, but there's hardly one in them who's absolutely top-notch. She has to play those. Then, perhaps, she can ask for an analysis. Or better ask the one she lost against right away. Way more faster and efficient. And even better: Analyze the top games between other players, e.g. on the ladder! Those are the good ones, there you see the good strategies in picking and playing. Those games here, she'll improve oh-so-slowly; thusly it is more a craving for attention than anything (relevant) else.
