Hello everyone,

I'd like to hear your thoughts on what makes a Good or Bad clan, feel free to make any examples but try not to offend anyone, Please don't use this thread as a way of Propaganda or anything of the sort.

A good clan should* have a jester.

GOOD CLAN:
- People cooperating to make that clan better.
- People respecting to each other.
- An active clan with many members participating in its forum, chat and clan games.
- A clan offering many games, tournaments etc.
- A clan having many kinds of players: roleplayers, map makers, FFa and team games players etc.

BAD CLAN:
- People always arguing, not listening to each other (you see it?...)
- Trolls and spammers ruining a clan's chat.
- A clan ruled by a dictator not giving a shit of his members.
- A clan full of unactive members (they are many in warlight)
- A clan full of Alt and spies trying to destroy it.



I also wanted to say that Warlight settings for clans are not good, that's why many clans died. I may post a new thread later with my opinion and suggestions of how we could improve that.

GOOD:
- Cooperation Among Clan Members
- Respect
- Communication
- Stability

BAD:
- Trolls, Idiots, and other annoying players
- Dicatorship clan
- Clan with a lazy leader who doesn't control his players

I don't think it's the settings fault that the clans suck. Infact, it puzzles me why people pay $20 to have the ability to invite random people into a clan. I mean in Apex, we were so stingy we won our clan page in a contest. None of us actually paid for it ourselves. Then I look on the clan list and see a couple dozen of clans that just invite random people and have no true goals other than to bicker endlessly at each other on the forums. It's so weird. Doesn't Facebook already exist? Do they not get their fill of bickering with people from there?

A good clan must have smart security.
Players have freedom, but not too much so that people make the clan chaotic.

Mossad took them out and improved the clan for the better. I hope they were involved with RF and will make it not shit :p

and AD only recruits above level 30, they do have quite harsh restrictions. and there was some problems with wolves but the new leader was incompetpent

how about you grow up a little bit, start your own ideal clan, and quit talking shit about other people's clans. it's fucking pathetic.

and i would like to defend my clan and my place in it. there are things i don't like about my clan, things i would change if given a chance, and things that i actively try to change by voicing my opinion. and there are good decent people in my clan (that is why i joined it).

yes there are plenty of things i don't agree with, but why would i quit because of that? i like a good challenge, and it is an especially good challenge to change some of the borderline troll-like things going on in my clan. i don't want to just abandon the good people there, or say fuck it, the only way to "fix" it is to get some alt to kick out all the managers. that's just dirty. if you have a soul, that kind of thinking is what taints and corrupts it.

and that's really sinister to think that someone could pay good money for a clan, and if lawlz or some other asshole doesn't like what you are doing, then they will straight up steal it from you. it is fucking theft and it's fucking wrong, whether or not you are warned about it.

maybe it makes no sense to you and you think it is low and pathetic how some clans are run, but remember, it is none of your fucking business anyway.
