Ran into someone who seems to have had extra income. No idea how it was possible, since no bonuses appear to be overridden. Thoughts?

Look at the "Check the game settings" section and you will find your answer.

That wasn't even insulting you. Seriously. Picks 5-8 were a MILLION times better than 1-4.

I haven't read the chat, but you need to co-ordinate picks in team chat, so you all spread out through one superbonus each.

i.e Player one puts eight picks in Hispania superbonus, or 4 (such as 1,3,5,7) in Hispania and 4(such as 2,4,6,8) in Magna Africa.
Player two puts picks in another two superbonuses.
Player three does the same.

You have now:

Covered most of the map
Can expand a lot faster
Denied the enemy most of the superbonuses free, to get them they HAVE to fight you.

Dean the sanctions card works the opposite of how it normally does. Examine how its worded.

Yeah, sanctioncard is negative, which means it has a positive effect. It doubles the income in this game.

Thomas, you of all people should realize that level is by no means indicative of skill or understanding of the game. It's just shows a player's persistence.

Edit: the level shows perfectly how good a player is. I didn't win many games in the last time and my level dind't change too! Coincidence? Don't think so
