I don't think it's a big deal if people feel like or express themselves as the opposite sex. Some boys are innately more feminine and feel more like girls, and some girls are innately more masculine and feel more like boys. No big deal, and repeatedly trying to pound a round peg into a square hole is going to cause a lot of resentment.
