That's the thing though, there's nothing to debate. The name is changing. It's not up for discussion. So why create a new thread every other day saying we want it to stay as warlight?

I mean I like warlight better too but I'm still gonna play. It's like when the New Orleans Hornets became the Pelicans. Nobody thinks pelicans is a better name but the owners have final say.

The forum is for community discussion, obviously the community does not like the name change. So they are discussing it. True, it always comes down to the owner's decision but that doesn't mean the wishes of the community should be ignored.

I doubt Fizzer will change his mind because he never has before, but if people still want to protest Warzone I've got no problem with it.

Nope, it's not even that big of a deal to me personally. All I'm saying is that people have a right to protest changes to the site. Yes Fizzer owns it but he would have no business if not for the player base.

All I'm saying is instead of "protesting" maybe people should save themselves the time and energy for something that's actually worth it. I think that if the name-change goes ahead we should arrange for everyone to go on vacation indefinitely until the name changes back. Warzone is the most generic, un-WarLight like name they thought of.
