Very nice map, I really like the idea of castle bonus, great scenarios could be made on your map, if you are planning to test again for the Beta version, you can count me in :)

Just one question, will you add some boat connections?

Not sure if a second test is necessary anymore, seeing as I've only added the bottom of Scotland.

if you make another one could you put in ireland and the bits of france britain owned?

If i did that I would add Ireland and probably Northern France (Normandy, Picardy etc). Unfortunately I will not be making any more maps after my last two.

I'm messing around with design etc this week, going to finish off the castle description, change the bonus map a bit, add border and some artwork, then do something with the county bonuses. The map is pretty much finished itself, only some names/links and distributions to go.

Hopefully it will be published soon !

I think it's a pretty good map (4 or 5 out of 5)

The map looks great and even better, it is of Britain.

But some things I think you could change:
I think that the castles inside the cities (e.g. Hastings castle, Carlisle castle) should look the same as the other castles.
The counties I think should either be on it's own map like the duchies or have the inland county bonuses overlap the territories.
I think Weybridge- Kingston (upon Thames). It was the first royal borough and alot of the viking kings were crowned in the city.
Pevensy bonus overlaps county of Surrey bonus.

Definitely a 5/5 map when it is released

You've got Aberdovey, but not Tywyn; Tywyn is more important than Aberdovey: I know the are very well.

Would be perfect if those castles had a bonus (even 0 is fine so host could change them),it would really add depth to the map.

Apollo you do realise that alpha is the finished product.You misused the terms in the OP.

I'm pretty sure it's: Alpha, Beta, release. Look it up.
